Here are some important things we look at when inspecting your fireplace and chimney flue. We check for holes in the back of the chimney flue seem. If you look at the photo there is a small hole in the where the fireplace meets the chimney flue. We also make sure you have no obstructions in your chimney flue. Sometimes birds can nest in the top of the chimney in spring. This can be a hazard when lighting your first fire for the winter season. And we get rid of hazardous soot and creosote buildup in the flue. These are just some of the checks we do.
